Things to consider about this recipe:
- Sweet potatoes are high in fiber, which can help with digestion and gut health. Having a healthy gut is beneficial for skin and heart problems, lowering inflammation, and may even be connected to improved mood.
- However, sweet potatoes contain oxalates, which can bind to calcium and other minerals to increase the risk of kidney stones. People who are prone to kidney stones or already have them should limit their portions.
