Things to consider about this recipe:

  • Sheet pan dinners can be high in protein and low in calories. Sheet pan cooking often uses fresh ingredients like vegetables and lean proteins. We use cornish hen in this recipe. They are a great source of protein, which is essential for building and maintaining muscles, bones, and skin. They are also rich in potassium, which helps maintain calcium balance and may reduce the risk of osteoporosis. Lastly, they are high in niacin, which can help lower cholesterol and improve brain function.
    • However, using too much oil in your sheet pan dinner can negatively impact the end result, so be sure to practice restraint and moderation when it comes time to drizzle and toss your ingredients.
